Getting ready for holidays in Spain
We don’t waist any “good weather” opportynity. In Sweden one doesn’t get it that often. However we had those three gorgeos days, and we spent the last one (read: yesterday) sun bathing and swi… Oh, no! I wish! The water temperature is still “below zero” :D in my understanding, so I save myself for Spain in August! :D
Love is in the air
Finally it’s the day that they were talking about for a longtime on TV! The fairy tale comes true and even though my republican mind know that royalty is so NOT 2010, my monarchist heart loves the idea of a princess wedding. :) Besides, I see it as an awesome reason to chill out in front of the TV the whole day *checking out celebrities, dresses, diamonds, you name it :D *.
Go South!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a football fan at all. *Unless Ukraine (or at least Sweden) is playing finals. ;) But this won’t happen in the next couple of centuries, so I’m fine on that one. :D* However, I like to watch all kinds of opening ceremonies and this one was nothing special yet so touching and full of joy! Well, if the weather won’t get better there is a risk that I’ll convert to a fotball fan… I hope that sun won’t ignore this rainy country!
Eye candies from Motor Show 2010
Innovation Fair
We went there to support two inventive and creative young ladies :), who’s product already won a couple of prizes and were even mentioned in the regional newspaper.(Check this out!) I helped them with the pictures of their product earlier this year, but this time I shoot them “in action”. :) By the way, check out their website. Guess who took all the pictures? ;)
Anyway, I could never imagine that we have so many creative kids around us! It was so much fun to see girls, who designed their own jewelry, or own book for kids, or guys who made their own cool t-shirts, or who can convert your old VHS videos into DVDs or invented a spin for the extra headphone’s cord (something that I was thinking to invent, but I was late on this one :D).
Olympic games
Canada – the land of maple syrup, hockey, Shania Twain, Celin Dion, Bryan Adams… Now even the host for Winter Olympic Games 2010! It’s only hours left before the opening ceremony which is at 3:00 am Swedish time and I’m excited. I’m thinking about setting my alarm so I can watch it! But actually I don’t think I will need it. I guess someone (guess who? ;)) will personally wake me up. :) But on the night like that I don’t mind! :D
Google maps
J, who is known as a Google Maps lover here :D, has discovered that our “big city” is… on Google Maps now. Haha, it is not THAT small. Anyway, there is a 3D view over our city on Google Maps. They shot the pictures in the summer so when I checked it our I realized that I can barely remember how it looks like under all those tones of snow. *dreaming about summer*
SAAB
With the heavy heart…
…I am writing this post. Today is the day which we are going to remember for a long time. General Motors came with the final decision to close down SAAB. What does that mean? Time will show, I guess… But I find it difficult to understand what’s going to happen with our region and us. There are simply no words to express how sad I am not only for the all problems that we have to cope with now, but also for those people who despite all hard times showed a sincere interest in this car and for their passionate work. SAAB is more than just a car here and it’s difficult to realize that it has no future…
Rock baby :)
Rock baby and I are sneezing and coughing and are on our way to catch a cold… :((( So we are staying at home today with the hope of getting better tomorrow. Until then we will follow the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen and hope that sometimes in the future Lil’ Fil will see “the white Christmas” in real life.

Gone to cope with my runny nose and whining baby…
Die Mauer
Today for 20 years ago the East German government announced the opening of the Berlin Wall with the known consequences. I wonder what would happen if this didn’t happen…???
It will be really exciting to go to Berlin again in May! As you know we in our family have weakness for Germany – everyone who knows J knows what documentaries he is watching when he has some spare time. :D
