Oh, I’m totally into my new photography course! :D I have already transformed the bathroom upstairs in to the camera obscura – sort of the essentials of the cameras. I’m still amazed that it worked! Today I’m transforming my camera into a pinhole camera. Did you know that it’s possible to take pictures without a lens??? I had my little workshop today and this is the best I achieved:

This guy though seems to get the whole thing better. Pretty creative, huh?

I was thinking about buying wireless remote control to my camera for a long time. Somehow I managed without it all until I started to shoot pictures for my stop-motion movie. Besides I decided that it was time for me to step in the everyday pictures I take. With Lil’ Fil getting to the age where as soon as I get my camera out he either doesn’t want to take a picture or does something I don’t want him to do I have to be creative and quick! I guess I’m adding this gadget to one of my favorites along with speed-light and tripod. :D

It’s been an intensive day today, none the less because of the photo session I had with this young lady. ;) She is only 5 weeks old and she has already started her modeling career. :D Camera loved her! Those are my two favorites so far:

The weather has not been so cooperating those last days. Rainy, windy, dull… :( Not so Christmas inspired. So my Christmas photo session that I had yesterday, with the family I shoot last summer, was quite a challenge…

The lighthouse

I finally had a chance to work with one of my projects. I loved this awesome old lighthouse which I saw when we were on our vacation in Spain. And be so sure I took tons of pictures :D and even set my alarm (on vacation!) to get up early and catch the light! :) And here it is – the fruitful result of one early morning shooting!

Rock baby & the soap bubbles

I had my another family session last weekend. 30 C and shooting a baby jaga the soap bubbles is not what you prefer as a photographer. :) I must give credits to all of us (I mean the kid, his parents and I) for keeping the mood up the whole time. *Thank you guys!* As a result we’ve got some really good shots. *happy* However, I try to identify all the difficulties of shooting toddlers. They are so unpredictable, mobile and cannot take instructions that it is a real challenge to have them in focus all the time. I’m also struggling with finding a better place for my shootings. This is the common mistake for all semiarmature (or semiprofessional :D your ambitions decide what you call yourself :D) – what looks perfect in the real life doesn’t necessarily looks great on the picture.
