Montessori Tuesdays
Follow @Ntash_gtbI skipped over last week’s post bacause I simply gave up all “apple” devices in our household in favour of spending some time outside with my guys. That doesn’t mean that we had some lazy days. Oh no, we:
…played (pretty long time) with the “moon sand”. A great idea which I got from my friend L. You just mix one part of vegetable oil with 3-4 parts of flour and there you go!
…spent many sunny hours outside planting, crawling, jumping, riding, watering, eating, running, screaming, playing and cutting grass.
…painted a real masterpiece. I bought more paint and new brushes and let Lil’ Fil paint on canvas like the real artists! :) Canvas is great and much more suitable for the little artists than paper… The only downside is that it’s just tooo expensive! :(
…tried to draw cars using templates. I thought that it would help Lil’ Fil to believe that he actually can draw. He is not sure he can, but either he wasn’t in the mood or it’s just not his thing, but he didn’t like the templates too much. I’ll try another time.
…made a lot of beautiful things out of the play dough. I think noone knows what that is, but according to Lil’ Fil :”It’s beautiful!” Huh, what do I know??;D Lil’ Fil is actually a great fan of play dough now and can spend up to an hour playing – a great concentration practice. Youngster got to play with the edible play dough. He is eating everything! Literally, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g!

…counted milk caps in the jar and built a racing car and rockets out of toilet paper rolls and milk caps. None of it lasted for more than 5 min, but that’s not the point. :D
…played with adapter. :D It’s a great fine motor skills practice and by the way Lil’ Fil found it by himself. I’m sooooo loving the natural curiosity in these little creatures! ;)
You can always find more ideas on my Pinterest board. Enjoy!
