Checking in just to wish all of you a really Happy New Year! :) Can you believe it is the last day of the year? I’ve been waiting impatiently for this day. We are holding a *rather* big party for our friends, and my “to-do” list is loooong today. So I guess I save all my 2011 plans and 2010 sums for the new 2011. Anyway, hope the New Year brings you lots of blessings, joy and fun!
I challenged myself with a dozen of freshly baked bagels. I’m not going to deep into details but did you know that bagels should be cooked before baking? That sounds pretty advanced, but I’m quite satisfied with the result. Of course, it’s not the ones we used to have for breakfast on 5th Avenue ;), but with some practice… why not! ;)
We had plans to go to the museum today but last night Lil’ Fil developed a fever which was later followed by a cough. :( I’m not sure where it came from as we stayed inside yesterday. Really hope he can fight this one off quickly. Our friends are coming over tomorrow to celebrate New Year and I don’t want to be the one who drops dead before the midnight on New Year’s Eve. Oh, boy!
