I could barely sleep tonight. I’m so excited to go on Lil’ Fil’s first holidays. Excited and afraid… I’m glad that I have my mom with me. Together we will definitely manage the monster baby. ;)

We are leaving for Stockholm after lunch today and we are going to have a couple of busy days there. We are going to meet J’s good old friends, J is going to see a hockey game together with them, while Lil’ Fil and I are going to take a coffee with my friends. We are also going to pick up my mom and celebrate Walpurgis Night and after all enjoy the Stockholm as well. Next week my mom, Lil’ Fil and I are flying South to the beautiful Paris. *can’t wait* I love this city. They say that everyone should experience spring in Paris at least one in a life time. I did it last year and I feel privileged to do this one more time. ;) The smell of baguettes, croissants and coffee in the morning… I dream away… ;) After Paris we are going to Berlin. I’ve always loved Germany, so does my mom (and J too ;) – another common thing between J and his mother-in-law :D).  My mom is sure that she lived in Germany in her earlier life. ;) In fact, we did live there when I was young(er). :) So I bet she will get very nostalgic. It’s been 21 years since she has been there.

I have surely been looking forward this trip so bad. Partially because I love to travel, but then I would really appreciate a break from the every day life right now. ;) So see you in two weeks, I guess! I promise to come back with tons of beautiful pictures. Stay tuned!

I want right now: I want to sit in the car on our way to Stockholm and play with “my precious” 2.0. ;)

Encouragement to myself: Hold on! Just two hours left! :)

Of course, we didn’t make it to the play group today! First I was hunting the memory card choosing between the right sort, size, capacity, manufacturer, price, you name it. And when I got it, the play group plans suddenlydisappearedfrom my list. *I wonder why? ;)*

So while Lil’ Fil was…

Lil’ Fil doesn’t stop surprising neither me nor our nurse! :) She was speechless when she saw him standing and then walking in into her room barely holding holding my hand. :) *there you go!* He is definitely ahead! Anyway, today’s visit showed that Lil’ Fil is now 9450 g and 73 cm. My *wild* guess was wrong. Besides the routine check he had a hearing test and comprehension test today. He did great on both of them so the nurse was wondering if Lil’ Fil knew what to do beforehand. ;) Of course, I saw him reading her book here the other day. *joke* :D But could I be  other then proud and happy? I guess not! *proud and happy*

• First thing in the morning – get myself a memory card for the camera.
• Take Lil’ Fil to his nine month check. *I bet he is over 9500 g  and 74 cm*
• Go to the play-group and hope to see a happy Lil’ Fil there.

His extreme whininess those last days drives me nuts. But who wants to hear that… Two days to go and I will be able to hand him over to my mom! :D *happy*

Fortunately, the memory card to the camera didn’t arrive today. Yeh, “fortunately” because otherwise I wouldn’t get anything done today. :D *Guess why???* My priority ONE was packing today. Guess who was right there to help me? ;)

I was lucky to take a picture of one of those rare moments when Lil’ Fil was smiling today. His whininess has no boarders today. *sigh* Teething again?
